Ingredients for Palak Khichdi in English

* Basmati rice – 1/2 Cup
* Moongdaal – 1/2 Cup
* Palak(Spinach) – 1/2 Cup
* Potato – 1
* Carrot – 1
* Tomato – 1
* Onion – 1
* Green chilli – 2
* Ginger garlic paste – 1 Tsp
* Cinnamon – 1/2 inch
* Bay leaf – 1
* Cumin seeds – 1/2 Tsp
* Cardamom(Elachi) – 2
* Turmeric powder – 1/2 Tsp
* Red chilli powder – 1 Tsp
* Salt – According to Taste
* Oil – According to minimization

How to Make Palak Khichdi in English

* Rinse rice and lentils(Moongdaal) and keep it soaked for 30 minutes.

* Remove the potato peel, carrot peel and cut it in a small piece. Cut the onions, tomatoes, green chilies finely.

* Wash the spinach(palak) and grind it.

* Now add oil to the cooker and heat it. Now add cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, sharp leaves and roast them. Then add finely chopped onions and green chilies and cook it. Now add ginger garlic paste and mix it. After that, add chopped tomatoes and cook tomatoes until soft. Now turmeric and red chilli powder .Add and mix Now add chopped potatoes and carrots and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.Now add powdered spinach mixture and cook for 2 minutes. Now add soaked rice and lentils and mix them. Now add 3 1/2 cup water and salt and mix it. Cover and cook till now, 5 cups. Prepare warmly hot spinach.
