Ingredients for Methi Rice Recipe in English
Basmati rice – 1 cup
Fenugreek leaves -2 bunches (finely chopped)
Cumin seeds –1 tea spoon
Turmeric powder – 1 tea spoon
Ghee – 1 table spoon
Coriander powder – 1 tea spoon
Garam masala powder – 1 tea spoon
Red chilli powder – 1 tea spoon
Dry Mango powder – 1 tea spoon
Cashew nuts – 250 gm
How to Make Methi Rice Food Recipe in English
* Wash rice and soak them for 1 hr. Wash fenugreek leaves and finely chop them.
* Heat ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds and fry. Add fenugreek leaves and cook for 1 min. Add rice, salt, turmeric powder and mix. Add sufficient water and cook on low flame (for 1 cup rice add 2 cups of water).
* Add red chilli powder, garam masala powder, coriander powder, dry mango powder, cashew nuts and cook for 2 mins. Methi Rice is ready.
